Cross-chain orders are live. Set targetChain and contraChain to different supported chains. Cross-chain execution supports market orders only and does not support QuickTrade.

How direction works

The source chain holds the asset you spend. On a buy, funds move from contraChain to targetChain. On a sell, they move from targetChain to contraChain. Send recipientAddress, the address that receives funds on the destination chain, on both the quote and order requests. The quote returns approval or delegation and signing actions for the source chain. If it returns a non-null bridgeQuoteId, pass that value back when you submit the order.

Example

This example buys WETH on Base with 100 USDC from Arbitrum:
Connect the wallet and public client to Arbitrum because USDC is the spent asset. For an EVM-to-Solana or Solana-to-EVM order, recipientAddress must use the destination chain’s address format. Follow the EVM or Solana flow for the approval, delegation, and signing fields returned by the quote.

Questions and answers

What happens if the order refunds?

Funds are refunded to the original funder.

Why can’t I cancel my order?

After a cross-chain transaction is sent onchain, Flash must wait for the cross-chain order response before allowing cancellation because the funds are still in flight.
